YOU MUST GET THIS, its a buy
Anyways, it looks amazingly gory and has huge amoust of swearing. If Rockstar keep it like this then it is going to be my type of game. So Right now I need to go find a bootleg copy. Holla at me if you know one.
Towards the end of the game, it becomes more of a chore. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone. You want a good game that's like Manhunt 2, buy Condemned 2. It'll have what you want.
MOTION SENSITIVE MURDER...
It'll make you cringe as you reign crushing blows with hammers upon your victims. This is truly a unique addition to this genre and an innovative upgrade from the first Manhunt. If you enjoyed Manhunt, this game will make you flip out.
Wanted to like this game, and I think it did have some good ideas for mixing stealth and action gameplay... but the forced censoring of "gore" scenes hurt the games main conceit, and some of the better ideas don't seem to be carried through as well as I hoped. The atmosphere developed early on was great, even if the enemy AI wasn't, and might have set my expectations too high for the rest of the game.
Have to play more, and it's possible that the rating can improve if the game gets much better. Don't count on it though. I'd say that you are better off looking at either Godfather or Scarface on Wii, both of which provide some of the same thrills but with better storylines and execution (harhar) of ideas.
The game is nowhere near as good as the original Manhunt. Still though at times it's very enjoyable but unfortunately most of the time it's very, very unsatisfying. The AI is lacking, the censoring of the executions is preposterous. 9 out of 10 times you can't see what's happening and the environment isn't as moody as in the first game. It's all a bit flat. Only for the die hard fans of Manhunt.
