BUY THIS GAME!!!
Very fun to play, but also very hard.
House of the dead was a lot of fun back in the day at the arcade, a true quarter monster. However as with sadly many great games as time goes on they just don't hold up like you remember them. Just my opinion, a good friend of mine, Snoop, loves the game and would probably give it a 4 1/2.
True to itself, great bargin, graphics not so much
The most amaizing thing that I like about this game is it's 2-player co-op point target action.
it rivals with Resident evil: Umbrella chronicals. because though RE:UC is a much longer game, with much better graphics, story, and features, but its the 2 play co-op that makes house of the dead 2 &3 possibly better, but thats a matter of oppinion.
the feeling of an arcade game you can play anytime u want and for free with your friends, opens a door for the question "Hey dude, want to come over and blast some zombies?"
A nice pair of arcade titles for an even better price. The action based multiple paths as presented in HotD2, along with the shotgun blasting co-op action from HotD3, make this one a worthy investment.
The arcade classic House of the Dead 2 and the fairly good House of the Dead 3 are put together on one disc. This game is worth it just for #2. A fun lightgun-esque game that is made better with the Perfect Shot. Whether you've never played this game or used to play it on your friends Dreamcast (like me), this is a game everyone should try.
