In the Wii version, the career mode is far better than anything that has been available for the PS2. Rather than having matches assigned to you, and going through stupid cut scenes and stories, the Wii version lets you take control of whats going on. You book your own matches by either accepting challenges from other wrestlers or making your own challenges. You also have to speak with the same Diva several times in a row before she will join you as your manager. And the best part is that you can choose your own tag team partner. Just ask the same wrestler to compete in tag team matches with you a few times, and you will eventually form a permanent tag team.
The downside to the Wii game, of course, is the lack of stuff to do. There are hardly any match choices, and the tag team matches with two human players on the same team are lame because the guy who is not tagged in cannot move until he is tagged in. No more running around on the outside and what not.
So I guess what Im saying is that you shouldnt listen to what everyone says about how bad this game is. Its not as bad as people let on. There are many downfalls to this game on the Wii, and if you have any other system then there is no doubt you should get the game there instead. But if all you have is a Wii, give this bad boy a rent. The single player is kind of fun, with the Wiimote controls, and the career mode is pretty fun. All in all, if you are a fan of the wrestling games, give this bad boy a rent, and judge for yourself.
Overall: 2/5 THIS GAME SHOULD BE SOLD IMMEDIATLY OR ELSE YOU WILL HAVE THE THOUGHT OF A GUY IN SKIMPY RED PANTS COMING TO YOUR HOUSE AND ASKING IF YOU ARE A DIRTY WRESTLER OR A SHOWMAN.
character creator is fun but other than that BORING
Also if you are a fan of WWE it tells you alot of facts and has sevral characters.
But the Chatacter maker is a little weird.
a game that could use a little more hard levels
