I was originally harsh on this game, but after playing it some more, I have changed my stance in some ways. Mind you, I still feel it should have given a different name, to let consumers know not to expect a Smackdown vs. Raw quality game. But I feel a little better about it, because there is one thing about this game that is superior to the PS2 version (the only other one I have played).

In the Wii version, the career mode is far better than anything that has been available for the PS2. Rather than having matches assigned to you, and going through stupid cut scenes and stories, the Wii version lets you take control of whats going on. You book your own matches by either accepting challenges from other wrestlers or making your own challenges. You also have to speak with the same Diva several times in a row before she will join you as your manager. And the best part is that you can choose your own tag team partner. Just ask the same wrestler to compete in tag team matches with you a few times, and you will eventually form a permanent tag team.

The downside to the Wii game, of course, is the lack of stuff to do. There are hardly any match choices, and the tag team matches with two human players on the same team are lame because the guy who is not tagged in cannot move until he is tagged in. No more running around on the outside and what not.

So I guess what Im saying is that you shouldnt listen to what everyone says about how bad this game is. Its not as bad as people let on. There are many downfalls to this game on the Wii, and if you have any other system then there is no doubt you should get the game there instead. But if all you have is a Wii, give this bad boy a rent. The single player is kind of fun, with the Wiimote controls, and the career mode is pretty fun. All in all, if you are a fan of the wrestling games, give this bad boy a rent, and judge for yourself.

its fun but its hard when u first play but it took mii sum trys and im so good @ it but any way it is still fun because your like in the game
Poor Game, Disappointing Gameplay, Only Best Thing About This Game Is That You Can Do Taunts Using The Wii Remote And Nunchuck E.G. Dx Chop & John Cena's 'You Can't See Me' Taunt.

Overall: 2/5 THIS GAME SHOULD BE SOLD IMMEDIATLY OR ELSE YOU WILL HAVE THE THOUGHT OF A GUY IN SKIMPY RED PANTS COMING TO YOUR HOUSE AND ASKING IF YOU ARE A DIRTY WRESTLER OR A SHOWMAN.

A very fun game. Making a superstar on this game is better than making a Mii.
I was really looking forward to this, the wii remote could have really done something good for this game. Which it did. The only problem is, well, the game. The graphics are slightly better than a PS2's standards, and where are the matches, where is the Last Man Standing, the ladder matches, the buried alive matches, the royal rumbles. Quite frankly the game is appauling. You don't even get a GM mode or no online play, which is pretty poor, the commentary is ridiculously annoying, infact the only good thing about this game are the real life taunts which are used with the remote and nunchuck. Everyone's is on there from John Cena to the legendary DX to Randy Orton. Very dissapointing.

still a bit good but very disappointing.they even took out 247 mode with all the cut scenes.THQ can do much better than that.
