Great game, great unockables, and a fantastic editor for Shmup fans.
Its not available for cheap, so get yourself a copy!
yes you can make stuff.... but the game its self made me bored. I just do not like this game.... at all.
really good becuz of the creativity you could do in this game and becuz of the blast works depot downloading stuff is so easy even a caveman can do it.
The "Z" button on the numchuck should be more like a switch "ON" or "OFF" then a "PRESS" or "UNPRESS"
In addition to the 15 levels of the main game, Blast Works's biggest feature is its inlcuded editor. No, not a level editor; and everything editor. You can create your own bullet patterns, playable characters, enemies, and full levels. The editor is easy to learn, while providing enough depth for serious creators to make some interesting creations.
All of your creations can be uploaded to Blastworksdepot.com, where other players can review and download your works.
The editors are incredible and I love the physics...I'd go on but I don't have enough time.
Even With Online System
Wrote a detailed review, but MiiPlaza choked when I went to submit it and the whole thing was lost.
:(
Short version is this: I didn't think Blast Works would be that great, but it has surpassed all my expectations. Technically, the game's music and graphics aren't the best... but I can forgive that because of the excellent gameplay, many cool unlockables, and full-featured editor. This game is an absolute steal, even for just the arcade/campaign modes and Kenta Cho unlockable games. If you have ANY interest in creating your own content, then go buy it now. Don't miss this hidden gem!
Excellant game, editor and blastworkdepot make this game really shine Check out my uploads!!!!
Amazing! Just got it... Working on some good stuff! See ya'll soon!
Woot! I love games with great and detailed Editors. The gameplay may be a little repetitive, but with the abillity to create what ever you want, it will not get boring.
Great Game, very innovative
A somewhat unique game, players pilot their aircraft through levels, shooting down enemy ships, and collecting them for added defense/firepower. Outside of that the experience is rather empty and limited. This would normally send a title straight to dollar bins, though the available DLC from the user supported community adds more value to the Wii title. It even supplies the tools to make killer ships, levels, attacks, and just about everything to make the enjoyment of the title near endless. The only drawback would be having to build the items, so if you just want to play rather than spend time creating, it may not be worth it.
Fun but hard
Very awsome game make you own oponion and imagintion Perfect game
its very good you can make costom stages ships and enamys. I made some zelda stuff out of it. Another cool thing is that its multiplyer so 4 friends can play its a awsome shooter
This is a pretty good game. You can pretty much make ANYTHING in the editor, and the regular shooting mode is fun itself. I'd reccomend it, but it really depends if you are creative and patient enough to learn the editor well
This game is pretty fun
