Rocks my socks. My favorite game, but I'm a sucker for all Mario games. Can't wait for super smash brothers brawl!

Mario's Wii debut has come, and may I say, I am shocked. Graphics: 5/5 Absolutely amazing. The beautiful colors and effects. The amazing lighting and detail. These graphics are just absolutely breathtaking. Hey all you people who say the Wii has horrible graphics...yeah... Gameplay: 5/5 There's really nothing new here except for the Wiimore shake to spin. But the reason its a five out of five is that its perfect already, so it doesn't need anything new. Playability: 4.8/5 The controls are so tight, and the small shake of the Wiimote required to spin is so well done, and so nicely handled that it's just a great thing to do, and it isn't too much of a task. The only problem I had with the controls is the learning curve. When your on planets, and upside down, its really hard at first to find out how to properly run with your little shadow behind the land mass, but after about 30 minutes of play, its all good. Sound: 5/5 The sounds are so great, so clean, and there's really not that many sounds coming from the Wiimote. The music is so beautiful. I would just listen to the game, but its so much fun that I need to play it too! Replay: Uber High! First off, it'll take some hours to get all the stars, but then after that, ou get to do it all as Luigi! If that doesn't make you want to play the entire game again I don't know what will (playing as Peach in a 3D Mario game perhaps? Just a though...). Total Score: 19.8/20 99% If the fact that its a 3D Mario adventure of epic, galactic proportions doesn't make you want to play the game, then the great look, sound, and feel of it will!

Well, Super Mario Sunshine was better. This game is aimed at children rather than teenagers, so i was bored at times. Its music is the best wii game soundtrack I have heard.

I just picked up my copy of this game today, and I love it! It brings back so many memories of playing Mario 64 way back in the day! I'm pretty sure that I'll enjoy this game for many years to come!

I have to say that this game is definitely a winner. amazing graphics,crazy levels and well tuned game play. The camera how ever was a little shakey but it was very fun.

I got it yesterday and can't put it down. It is definitely one of the best. My only complaint so far is the camera angles. Walking around the spheres and upside down can throw you for a loop. I love the flying from star to star. I've only made it past the Egg Kingdom... more when I get further. A must have.

Great game. Its like Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine but on crack. The environments you play in will make you head spin and tax your spatial reasoning skills (almost in a fashion like Portal but not THAT extreme). It is however, like its predecessors, a bit on the easy side, but I am not deep into the game yet so who knows what is still in store for me. All in all, another superb Mario adventure! Have fun all!

The platformer is slowly dying. Nintendo certainly isn't helping to keep it alive. I gave it 4 stars because it is a great game, but it feels like Mario is getting a little old. If it were more like DK64 or Banjo-Kazooie with some permanent powerups and special moves, it would be so much better. I think Mario needs a make-over. The formula worked on Mario 64 because it was new and exciting, but now, it's getting a little tiring. If only Nintendo hadn't sold Rare. They knew how to make a true platformer.

this game is fantastic, it can easly be compared to Super Mario 64, the movement and everything about this game is great, the levels are huge with alot to keep you busy with all the lush and amazing colors and graphics, veterans of the mario series will feel right at home with all the extra goodys added for us. the cool part about this game is that it has co-op so a friend can help when you are in trouble, the down side to this game is that it only has 120 stars, and when you get all the stars you dont have to stay playing with mario you get to play with someone close to home, all im saying is that it's someone who is green, mean, kicks butt, and has his own 3 games....ill give you a hint its not Master Chief haha. overall this is a buy

Greatest platformer I've ever played. Although some are commenting on feeling dizzy I was only affected by that when playing my first time in Game Stop. I haven't felt any dizziness since then. I never liked the storyline of mario games, but this one is decent mainly because it takes the franchise to new heights.

got it on its worldwide launch day, so i got my coin... totally worth it... So far so good, the graphics and camera motion are like anything else on the wii... So, if you don't have it yet... hmm hmmm... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!!!!

I personally think this is a short game (without getting all 120 stars) but it's Mario so it's not supposed to be long. The difficulty level is not too high and the graphics are the best I have seen from a Mario game. Obviously. This game is full of win. I would've liked a little more variety in some of the "worlds" but it doesn't make me love it any less.

Super Mario Galaxy = A++ It's a great adventure game off of Super Mario 64(Nintenndo 64) and Super Mario Sunshine (Gamecube). The story is new aged and great with similar but better graphics to sunshine! The concept is still the same to mario 64 with the 120 stars hidden throughout the game with some that are easier and some that are frustratingly hard. The wiimote comes into great use with many different actions throught the game, such as pointing to collect and shoot "star bits", balancing mario ontop of objects and blowing him in a bubble through certain galaxies. On top of all that, with just the flick of the wiimote, mario preforms a spin attack for his offense power. The game really gets you going and you'll be both lucky and weird if your wiimote and nunchuck isn't covered in sweat by the time your done playing for the day. 10/10 from me and I can see many others agree (even CNN) Great game, go buy it now!

when sunshine brought the series down, galaxy picked it up, greatly. not since super mario 64 has there been a mario game as excellant as this. this game is almost flawless: controls, camera, graphics and story make it a mario 64 game in itself, just in space. just like what halo did for xbox, SSBM did for gamecube, super mario bros. did for the NES, you don't have a WII unless you've puchased or even played this excellance.

This game is in three words, the perfect platformer. Best graphics on the Wii yet by a mile and the gameplay is incredible! Serious contender for game of the year!

This Game is GREAT. Everything is perfect the graphics are good the gameplay is awesome (except swimming can get annoying) and the gravity feature is amazing! A must buy for any wii owner

Yes, Nintendo has outdone itself-- again. The dizzying concepts keep you playing, addicted, and trying to get better and better. Even when you beat the game(all 120 stars, then beat bowser) you can play all over again as Luigi!

Not one of my favourite games probably because im a hopeless puzzle solver and can never hit a baddie at the right time so they end up hurting me instead. but great graphics thats probably the reason i still pick up my Wiimote and nunchuk and play it even thought ill never get all the stars.
