This is good fun, isnt very deep, just a good tech demo if you ask me, and you cant really go wrong with a free controller or a £5 game, whatever way you look at it. its a win win situation, its no where near as good as sports, as theres no stats kept.

Graphically its nice and simple, and i like the bodys of the miis. table tennis, tanks and Mii search are by far the most addictive games on it, but still get boring after a while, on your own anyway, while multiplayer is ok, i still find myself picking up sports instead.

Like the others say it's worth the money for the controller, otherwise Air Hockey is the only game worth playing on it. Actually even that is a bit boring. Mines already got dust on. "Dust? anybody? No?"

Alright game, good for showing friends and family what the Wii can do, but otherwise not worthy of the title "Game", i'd say its more of a tech demo.

Good for a free wiimote.
Billairds and the cow racing are brilliant games, not so fond of the other games though
At least you get a free Wiimote with it

Fantastic little addition to the Wii family.

As you have a Wiimote included, this game effectively comes to £5 for 9 mini games.

Ones worth mentioning are (in no particular order):
Tanks (even better multiplayer)
Pool
Laser Hockey (basically Pong with "disco" styling)
Shooting range (a la Duck Hunt)
...and the Best of All: Cow Racing (I haven't laughed this hard in ages)

Even the fishing game is quite good.

Think of it as the beginners guide to the Wii, with a whole lotta Fun thrown in for good measure....for £5 it's excellent vfm too.

THis is a godd game for the nintendo wii.Where do i start, well the laser hockey is great and the graphics do't really matter but are still great(of you press a and b at the countdown at the start of the game the pad's change shape)This is great can be a bit boring on multiplayer laser hockey can as it only goes up to eight and those of you who are good willfind that too short. As you go along on you'r very first go you will see that playing the first mini game unlocks the second and then completing that unlocks the third and so on.THe first mini game is a duck hunt .Where there is five rounds. The first round see's you shooting ballons by aiming the remoteat the screen and playing a to shoot. In round 2 it has shooting targets, gold for bonus points and also not shooting the plates with you'r face on.The third round seee' you shooting plates which is easy.Fourth round see's you shooting cans 5 times to destroy them and get points and then the fifth round is great with eight mii's running in and you have to shoot down flying saucers that are trying to abduct you'r mii's However manyt mii's you have left at the end you get ten point sfor each.every time you shoot somehing in this you loose or win points and on multiplayer whoever has the most points at the end wins the game.On normal single player if you beat you'r record it goes on the top records list and then you could earn a bronze, silver, gold or platinum medal.Moving onto the second game now, this is a finding game with loads of tasks like trying to find 2,3 or 4 of the same mii's in a huge crowd like where wally, trying to find odd mii's out that are doing the opposite from everybody else. The mii that is moving fastest, having to find a cetain mii, picking a favourite then later having to find that favourite. But as the levels go on it get's harder with a clock at the bottom that when reaches 0 you r game is over.Getting ten seconds added on for each mission you complete. On multiplayer though whoever get's most points in stead of levels completed wins but there is no time added on or anything.the winner of each round just get's points which could lead to winning. Each time you click on the wrong one you lose 5 seconds off the clock.Again if you get a new record it goes on the scoreboard and you could win a medal. The third game is table tennis where at the start you move you'r hand to pick up the racket. On single player you have to see if you can get 100 rally's for gold then 200 for platinum the ball getting faster and more people in the audience each time ten points are scored. In multiplayer it's first to 11 points.Simple.And again the same with high score table and medals. The fourth game is the pose mii game.Where ballons fall down the screen and you have to click a and b to change you'r characters pose and fit them in bubbles to pop the bubbles. If a bubble get's to the bottom of the screen you lose points and may get a game over. Also you have to turn the wii remote to turn the mii to fit into harder bubbles.Whoever drops most bubbles in two player loses. There are different background which are a bit random on this game.Again same with high score and medals. This can be the hardest game ever sometimes.Next is the pong one or virtual hockey.tHERE IS A TRICK AT THE TOP OF THE REVIEW FOR THIS GAME.You move the wii remote up and down and angle it by turning itto turn the paddle. You simply have to knock the ball into the others nety.On single player there is a clock and you have to see how many goals you can score for medals.on multiplayer first to 8 wins.Next is pool.On multiplayer it is just a normal billiards game but on single player you have to score without pocketting the cue ball and try and get a high score.once all ball's are pocketted and it shows you which ball you have to pocket and the cue ball has to touch first. At the end when all the balls are gone it calculates up the score and high score and medals come in then.On multiplayer it's a normal match to see who can score the most.To play this you have to move a dot onto the cueball and then click and hioold b and do the billiards or snooker putting method push. And use arrow keys to aim it.Next is fishing.Where you just move the hand to pick up the fishing rod and then place it in the water.By doing it with the wii remote(lifting up,down left and right)and then when the fish bites it does a few small bites then when it pulls the rod really hard then you pull the wii remote back to catch it.you get certain points for the type of fish and if it is the bonus fish shown at the top you get double the amount of points. But don't catch brown fish as they make you lose points. At the end the points get you high scores and medals and also on multiplayer whoever has most points wins.Next is cow riding. This is not a race more of a nock them down game.On this you tilt the remote sideways like most wii racing gmaes and you tilt it forward to make the cow gor faster tilt left and right to make it turn left and right and tilt backto make it stop immediuatley. You have to run opver scarecrows for points and this gets high scores and medals. On multiplayer whoever has most points wins.Lastly the last game is tanks whereyou either use the nunchuck or the arrows at the top to move thank and you aim the wii remote and press b to am and shoot and click a to lay a mine which detonates.Mine is left where you'r tank currently is.There are a range of enemy tanks and on single player you have to try and destroy as many tanks as possinle and on multiplayer you have to fight each other to see who can destroy most tanks not including each other. If both you and you'r mates tanks die then the game is over and the scores are tallied up.On single player after you'rdead threee times then it tally's up and then high scores and medals kick in.The games are all as one tournament to see which one of you or you'r mates are better on multiplayer.on single player it is to see what medal yu get and high scores.I fyou touch parts of you'r mii's body on the games selection screen they do different actions and you can even see you'r created mii's swimming and running in the background. This is a great game for it's price at £40.00 and even comes with a free wii remote. We rate this for game god as 10 for gameplay,10 for graphics,6 for duration and nine out of nine for overall. For more reviews see alifeoftime.piczo.com and read gamegodmagazine for yourself.Review by sam wood

Some of the games are a bit boring. The best would have to be pool. I'm sure a pool only game will be out soon so that will probably replace this in my collection!

A great training game for learning how to get used to using that remote and nunchuck. Some good simple games.

Cool and fun for showing Wii's features.
WTF. Bought this to get an extra remote with a game thrown in for €5. An absolute waste of €5. Would've been better to just buy the remote. AVOID THIS GAME AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
Not as good as I was hoping. A little bit more detail and more options could have made this an excellent game.
The remote is okay.....but the game.....
a good game i got platinum on fishin

gd to let u know what the control can do also get u anouther control xD
I like this game! A first Wii sports was better because of how you used the remote but then Wii play became better! I still think grahic wise it is not great and more games are needed but otherwise fun. Also it comes with a remote!
Good for the kids or the somewhat boring periods in life
fun game

comes with a wii remote but as a game on it's own your really your paying £5 to fish, play ping pong, laser hockey, ride a cow, blow up tanks, play snooker, pose a mii and spot a mii and shoot other miis. That's a great function the mii function. It's just more fun knowing that the cyber version of you is rampaging scarecrows. Goood in multiplayer in most of the games but fishing and ping pong are poop.

if your getting a wii remote, get this.
I'm giving this 4 stars as I picked it up for the same price as an extra remote. So for the cow racing, pool and target practice game for free it isn't all bad.
Not as good as WiiSports but ok mini games, more a traning kit for wiimote.

Shooting - Makes good use of wii mote speaker but lacks a good hunting dog

Find Mii - Great incorporation of the Mii channel

Table Tennis - Almost a good 2 player game, definitely a lonely 1 player game

Pose Mii - Can't figure out if this is a game or a break between games.

Laser Hockey - next gen pong

Billiards - Something must be done about the music. this pool hall needs a jukebox.

Fishing - i'm INSULTED!!

Charge - I smile every time i play. ahh so silly it's relaxing

Tanks - not fun at all without a nunchuk. good amount of difficulty

Wii Mote - These are tough to track down making this bundle a great value.

Just like Wii sports: A fun game, but not enough of a long-term challenge.

Table tennis rocks a lot when played with two players! ;) So does laser hockey.

The other games are either exhausting (fit shape into bubbleshape/ search for twin) or memorizing lameness (shooting range).

Would have gotten four stars if all games were REALLY fun. Unfortunately, they are okay, but not awesome (exceptions stated above).
Fun game, but not very deep. Most of these games are better in 2 player mode. I got it for the included Wii remote.

Should have been called "Extra Wiimote with some dodgy games chucked in for a fiver". The shooting mini-game with the balloons and aliens makes up for the uselessness (is there such a word??) of the rest of them.

Could have been so much more, but if you look upon it as a Wiimote with a free game its worth it. I suspect a lot of copies of Wii Play will be on eBay minus the Wiimote sometime soon.
its fun for what it is worth

This is a good game considering the price of the remote taken out of the cost. Really fun to have so you and your buddy's and just pick up a game at anytime. :}

Its fun and gives me something to do until I get anther game. Its worth what you pay for it assuming you sell the controller. Then that leaves you with about a 10$ game. I was hoping you could reach pro level and stuff but it ranks by medals. So its all right something to do. Lots of you with your Mii's

alright game, good control, but what makes 3 stars is that for 50 bucks you get the game and another wii-mote.

It is what it is. Shallow mini-games. Not as fun as Wii Sports, but worth the $50 price tag since it includes a Remote.

It's essentially a $10 game with a $40 controller. It's worth it though.
