theres a rumor of a new pokemon game called pokemon platinum it has giratina on the cover and has new forms of giratina, regigigas, and shaymin hmmm sounds cool

enjoy!If Japanese publication Coro Coro Comics is to be believed, the last iteration in Nintendos critter-hunting Pokemon series is named Pokemon Platinum, and will be heading to the Nintendo DS in Japan this September.
Legendary Pokemon Giratina is seen to feature prominently in Coro Coro Comics single-page feature (and on the box of the game), so it could be that the monster who debuted in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl; one that represents death and dwells in the ruined depths of Turnback Cave, be central to the upcoming plot in Platinum?
The first details reveal the following snippets of information:
Volkner is no longer the gymp leader of Sunyshore CityThe Underground is now compatible with the Nintendo Wi-Fi ConnectionAn island named Battle Island will feature, and functions in a similar manner to that of the Battle FrontierSeveral new Pokemon will make their debuts in Platinum, including Giratinas Origin Form, Regigigas Sky Form, and Shaymins Another Form - Giratina and Regigigas new forms are said to be able to acquire the Levitate ability and Shaymins Another form may be at least part Ice Type.
Everythings a little bitty as far as details go, but as soon as we hear anything more, well let you know.
Never mind serebii said some things were not proven yet. They may be true, but until further notice I will call them rumors. I just want more facts before I make a conclusion.
It's not like I want it right this minute. I can wait for 1-3 years trust me :) Nintendo has good games this year that I need to finish. Let alone all the other games I never finished like Monster Rancher 2.
i actually believe this, b/c volkner was so bored as gym leader, so as in all games he prolly left b/c the character didn't come by yet b/c our quest just started...... lol i think volkner is gonna be the new champion and jasmine will take over as the leader of sunyshore.... and cynthia will be in turnback cave as an optional boss like red in crystal
Nobody is asking for anything, Derreck.Nintendo does this all the time. He squeezes out everything Pokemon because they like money.Nintendo is not a non-lucrative organization. I don't get why you guys see Nintendo as somethingto respect and incline to. It's just a money driven company like Sony that squeezes everything for money.If another Pokemon game will get huge sales and maintain their franchise standing then that's whatthey're going to do. Nobody is asking for anything, they just giving it to us.
Poketto Monsut Purachina?, Pocket Monsters Platinain the original Japanese version) is an announced title in the Pokemon series of video games. It will be ancenhanced remake of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, following the same patterns as Pokemon Yellow,Crystal, and Emerald.
In May 2008, Pokemon Platinum was announced on the official Pokemon website to be slated for an
Autumn 2008 release in Japan.
Release dates for other regions are currently unknown.
The website will release more information in June.
The game will feature Giratina as its mascot. When Cyrus summons both Palkia and Dialga, Giratina emerges from a shadowy blob to stop his conquest. It also appears at Spear Pillar and can revert into its Origin Form
Not much is know besides its announcement and that the new pokemon Giratina (below)

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are both Fantastic Titles, at the Peak of what can be offered. Don't get greedy by bugging for more.
I think I will stay out of These Types of Conversations, cause It just bugs Me to no end that Everybody wants more from already outstanding Titles.
