In Smashtality IV ( a huuuuge tournament hosted by an East Coast crew named TSA), the Top 3 in the singles bracket turned out to be all DDDs. This should definitely place D3 in Top Tier, ABOVE Snake, surprisingly.
Mew2King (crowned as the official best Melee player) placed first, and mained Meta Knight. Top Tier, definitely.
well why I think Marth should be a little higher because he is fairly strong, has a quick counter, great knockback (especially in his ^smash), his recovery is ok... I think it's a little like Mario's, his >B is great if you use it right, his B is great for edge guarding or when facing noobs, he is stylish, most attacks of his are fast, his sword is... about average - above average on melee range... must I list more pros? or should I list some cons?
Yeah, but I looked up tournament results because do you know how insanely accurate Melee's Tier List was? They formulated it from hundreds, no, thousands of tournaments.
But if you want to position a character based on their moveset, then fine.

i dont think Dk should be in the high tier i know he is strong but he sucks vs andyone fast. i havnt mained any heavyweights therefor ive actually never lost vs DK. for gosh sakes waffle i beat DK with jigglypuff during our match.

Those two moves alone along with his dash To USmash Combo Make him better than Dedede
Those two moves do about as much damage as a Samus Fully Charged shot

If G&W Had Faster Rolls He'd be The best Character in the game
